26 year old sentenced to 3 – 10 years for breaking and entering

MARQUETTE — Several sentences were handed down by Judge Mazzuchi this morning in Marquette County Circuit Court. ABC 10’s Chelsea Birdsall has more.

26 year old Eric Peterson was sentenced three to 10 years on charges of breaking and entering a building with intent to commit larceny.

It was ordered that Peterson would pay the mandatory fines and have no personal contact with victims. Peterson was arrested in connection to several breaking and entering crimes in Marquette township.

Also in Circuit Court, Twenty–nine year old Kaylee Comment pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of larceny.

As a part of a plea agreement, Comment received no sentence on count one and instead was given 9 months of supervision to prove fitness for leniency. She received one year probation for count two.

The last sentencing of the day was twenty–one year old Abudlrahman Aldhekair. He was sentenced to twelve months probation under the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act.

If he complies with the terms of probation, no conviction will be entered in the case and records of the court’s disposition will be sealed.

Aldhekair pleaded guilty to one count of larceny in a building. He was arrested for taking a prescription medication from his roommate last November.
