HOUGHTON — Houghton Elementary School went into lockdown Monday morning after police discovered a man in the school parking lot had a concealed weapon in his possession.
Officers with the Houghton City Police Department were dispatched to the school just before nine thirty this morning on the report of a suspicious person. Through their investigation, officers arrested a 30-year-old man for possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon.
