#17 Wildcats host #1 Michigan for CCHA Weekend Opener
Tonight and tomorrow at the Berry Events Center, the N.M.U. Wildcat hockey team will open up the CCHA conference portion of their schedule.
Right off the bat, the Wildcats welcome in the Michigan Wolverines. And the Wildcats are definitely ready to face the Maize and Blue.
Added to the hype that the Wolverines are in town, head coach Red Berenson’s team is ranked #1 Nationally. Berenson says his team is taking that ranking with a grain of salt.
Michigan hasn’t played an away game yet this season, but they have had some success at the Berry Events Center, holding a 9-1 record the last 10 games.
