$1,500+ for Fire Victims
Two Ishpeming restaurants exceed expectations, raising more than $1,500 for victims who lost their homes in last week’s 581 Fire.
Country Kitchen and Jasper Ridge Brewery both gave 15% of their sales yesterday to aid victims who lost everything.
Both establishments also saw people bring in cash gifts.
Jasper Ridge employees chipped in 10% of their tips to the cause as well.
With Jasper Ridge bringing in $937, and Country Kitchen bringing in $620, they added up to $1,557.
Some of the money will buy gift cards, and the rest will be given to victims in cash through the Salvation Army.
