15-Year-Old Girl Arrested for Attempted Murder
A 15-year-old girl in Delta County is arrested for trying to stab her mother to death.
State Police from the Gladstone Post say they got the call shortly before 2 this morning for a home in Baldwin Township.
Officers found the victim at a neighbor’s house with multiple stab wounds.
Her 15-year-old daughter was at home, and police arrested the girl there for attempted murder.
The girl is being held at the Bay Pines Youth Detention Center in Escanaba.
The victim was taken to OSF St. Francis Hospital and is still being treated there tonight.
The names of the mother and daughter aren’t available.
Police have also given the case to the Delta County Prosecutor for review.
