109th State Representative results
109th District State Representative Steve Lindberg (D) will leave office, due to term limits. His successor will either be John Kivela (D) from Marquette or Jack Hubbard (R) of Grand Marais.
The two beat their challengers in the August 7th primary election. For Kivela, it was close. He tallied 4,512 votes, while his opponent, Tony Retaskie (D) landed 4,316.
Hubbard beat out Jim Hafeman (R) by nearly a three-to-one margin: Hafeman had 1,299 votes, Hubbard had 3,365.
